 Description of Work 
 

 Task 1.1 Project management : This task includes all activities necessary to manage and control the project, the management activities linked to the contractual obligations and communication with EC. The project bodies are described in Section B2 of the Description of Work.  
 Project management tasks include  
 Preparation, organisation of Board and Project Management Team meetings, implementation and monitoring of the decisions (M1, M4, M10, M17, M22, M28)
  Management of high level project scientific guidance by the Science Advisory Committee (M3, M14, M20). The first meeting of the Science Advisory Committee will in particular be used to gather high level guidance on the foreseen project activities and will be used in the establishment of the detailed project plan (D1.2)
  Monitoring of project activities in collaboration with the WP leads, including checking that milestones are met and deliverables are properly produced, checks of eventual deviations to the project plan, and transmission of problems to the Board if required
 
  Overall legal, contractual, financial and administrative management activities include  
 Collection of signatures from all partners in due time
  Reception and distribution of project funds
  Production of the contractual reports (D1.3, D1.4, D1.5, D1.6), including the cost statements
  Obtaining audit certificates by each of the partners if required
  Compilation of the meetings organised and the reports produced by the project
 
 
 
 

 Task 1.2 Communication within the project is in particular ensured through the TWiki Web site (D1.1), which is fed on a collaborative model by the project management team, work package leads and project participants. A small fraction of the TWiki site may be set with controlled access for dissemination of information reserved to the project if needed, but most of the site is in public access, allowing anyone to get full information on the project activities and details on the meetings organised by the project
